Mega Man: BusterForce is a personal passion project where I reimagine the classic Mega Man universe as a hero shooter.
From the design system to character illustrations, every UI asset and artwork was crafted to blend the charm and energy of the original series with a fresh, modern aesthetic. The goal was to capture the spirit of Mega Man while exploring new gameplay possibilities and visual styles, all designed and developed independently without any affiliation with Capcom.

CONCEPT
Alongside prototyping the whole design system, I’ve illustrated some of the character I’ve envisioned to spearhead a project like this, giving them a more modern look to fit the hero shooter genre.
I have also designed unique abilities to go along, with (kinda) working gameplay mechanics and icons to illustrate each one, all of this while taking in consideration the already existing concepts and motifs for each original character from Capcom.
